Love. A word mentioned in the bible too many times to count, for me at least. I am sure someone has counted. It is not really important though the amount of times it is mentioned, just that it is mentioned often. Loving can be crazy sometimes. Especially the kind of love that Jesus demonstrated. And the commands he gave us to love others. All others. Craziness.
Loving in everyday life is crazy sometimes. Loving a child who constantly tells you how much he loves you is awesome. Loving a child who argues with everything you mention, well that can be trying. Being a mom to 3 young ones, loving can be crazy - good kind of crazy and the not so good kind of crazy.
It is life-giving, rewarding, sad, and unmotivating all at the same time. I hope to be able to document how I love well in my life and in how I struggle to love, sometimes it does not look good. Surely this will include the many odd and exciting things we find ourselves doing, in this superb family of five!
